Besty Weekend

One of my best friends, Sammy, came to visit this past weekend!! It was so fun getting to hang and have besty time together. This was the first time she had been to Idaho or to visit us here and it was a blast.  She was supposed to fly into Pullman, which is about 15 minutes away, but her flights that morning got messed up and she ended up flying into Spokane, which is about an hour and a half from here. So she got the full experience driving into Moscow and seeing the Palouse, which is basically miles and miles of rolling hills, it’s so pretty and much different than CA.

I wish I would have taken more pictures while she was here, but we definitely made a lot of fun memories!

It was homecoming weekend and on Friday night we went out for a fun dinner and went to the homecoming bonfire on campus.

For her visit I was super excited to show her all of the cute restaurants here in Moscow. They add so much charm to this town, it is so small here, but I love that we have so many cute places to eat.

Saturday we had brunch at Maialina, it was SOOO good! We share a pizza and these orange zest cream filled donuts…seriously perfection!

We went apple picking one day, and made a delicious Chai Spiced Apple Crumble. She got to experience a Vandal football game and WE WON!!! I am really enjoying winning these days 🙂 we went out and celebrated that night. woo!

The last night she was in town we cooked up a storm. We made the apple crumble and for dinner we made a tomato basil soup and some tasty open face grilled cheese sandwiches. I had been wanting to make this meal and it was perfect to make when she was here!! I will share the grilled cheese recipe soon, it was SO good. We also celebrated our birthdays that night, watched Hocus Pocus, my all time favorite Halloween movie, and did face masks. It was the perfect girly night 🙂

How cute is this birthday hand towel she got me !! I LOVE IT! It will definitely be out more than just during my birthday week 😉
I’m soo thankful she came to visit and we got to make some fun memories here in Moscow!

Hope you all had a fun Halloween weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
