Football season has officially begun with our first game this evening!! I am so excited and anxious to see what this season has in store.

Eric and I have a tradition of giving his Linebackers goody bags the night before  games to show our appreciation for all of their hard work. For this first game’s goody bags I made some Funfetti cookie bars that I found here. Eric said the white chocolate chips in them were a game changer! 😉


My mother in law was kind enough to help me make her delicious cookie recipe to add to the goody bags and also bring with us to the tailgate. We made 2 batches, which is about 65 cookies, she is a real trooper! These cookies are AMAZING, they have semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, and extra vanilla. They are huge and soft and I could eat a dozen to myself!

Hopefully I can talk her into letting me share her recipe someday.
